Andusia RFL adds yet another new german agreement

Andusia have successfully negotiated their fifth CHP off take agreement with a plant in Germany. The plant does not currently receive any RDF from the UK, and see the contract with Andusia as a key milestone in their strategy to attract RDF from a range of european markets.

Initially the company has secured a 12 month supply for 25,000 tonnes, and the TFS is currently in the application stage. The German plant has a capacity to take significant quantities of RDF, and this initial contract is seen as a stepping stone to extending this tonnage as new and existing supplies are supplemented on this route.

For Andusia this contract marks a broadening of CHP plants in Northern Europe to enhance the supplies currently being sent to Scandinavia.

Steve Burton from Andusia commented “The main benefit of working with Northern Europe plants is the year-round supply profile, which is not always available in other markets”.

Update 7th April 2014: Andusia Recovered Fuels are delighted to announce that the TFS consent has now been received and RDF will start being collected from later this week
