Following this week’s article on LetsRecycle. com claiming that the RDF export market is beginning to slow, Andusia Recovered Fuel Ltd also announce that they have now collected their 35,000th load of RDF and to date have exported over 900,000 tonnes of waste to Europe for recovery – business seems to be as busy as ever.
The LetsRecycle report shows that the export market may have plateaued, although this is mainly due to Europe moving out of the recession and beginning to create, and use, more of their own waste.
However, there are still plenty of opportunities in the market place, and although exports to Europe may have slowed, Andusia are now turning their attention to the UK and the emerging Energy from Waste market a little closer to home. What an exciting time to be apart of the industry!
