Steve Burton, Director, and founding member of Andusia Recovered Fuels has been nominated as one of the 2018 ‘Faces of a Vibrant Economy’ by accounting network, Grant Thornton.
For the past 2 years, Grant Thornton have celebrated 100 Faces of a Vibrant Economy to showcase progressive leaders across private and public sectors to provide inspiration to young people as to how they might aspire to contribute as they move into the working world. Those nominated are excelling in either growth, innovation or purpose.
Steve’s story resonated with Grant Thornton. Having established Andusia in 2012 with fellow Director, Stewart Brackenbury, the company has gone on to become the UK’s largest independent exporter of RDF. Also winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade in 2016 and finally collecting it’s millionth tonne of RDF waste earlier this year.
Looking ahead, Andusia are expanding into the SRF and hazourdous waste market and will celebrate it’s 7thanniversary in February 2019.
