This marked a huge milestone in the plants progress as we look towards construction completion in January 2022 with the first waste load being burnt in February 2022. Andusia will be supplying up to 16,000 tonnes per annum of hazardous and clinical waste, comprising namely of bagged yellow, orange and ‘tiger stripe’ waste, for high temperature treatment under a long-term contract.
