Job Title: Data Analyst
Line Manager: Director
Location: Hertford head office, Hertfordshire
Job Purpose: To monitor and report on all commercial and risk aspects of the business. The role will involve financial improvements to the current operational provision and commercial support for new business bids and opportunities.
Job Role:
- Implement new operational database working with 3rd party software developers
- Produce weekly/monthly/quarterly client performance reports, business reviews and analysis of impact / risks / opportunities.
- Carry out analysis across all data sources available working with the Finance and Commercial teams to provide actionable insight for client development and external client teams.
- Build relationships with internal departments to ensure contractual compliance, risk management, action planning (Accelerating performance, addressing under performance) all adhered to.
- Work with management teams to produce reports to track performance from project overview down to individual and project level
- Understand the market, competitors and initiatives from market research and commercial analytics.
- Support throughout performance management cycle for existing and new business
- establish relevant KPIs/SLAs
- ensure data capture, reporting and audit evidence are set up
- report on project impact during and post project completion
Skillset:
- Bright, articulate, and able to understand and explain complex concepts.
- Commercial and entrepreneurial.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills – Advanced Excel skills essential.
