Andusia are pleased to report they have signed a renewal contract with family-run Britaniacrest Recycling, based in Surrey. The contract marks a continuation of working together, having just completed on a previous 1-year deal.
Formed in 1993, Britaniacrest have grown from strength to strength to become one of the South’s leading private waste management companies. Passionate about recycling and protecting the environment, the company are able to achieve ‘0% to landfill’ for customers and recycle 90% of waste received.
The collaboration will see 400 tonnes per week (almost 20,000 tonnes for the year) of RDF being exported to the Netherlands over a 12-month period. The waste will be recovered and used to provide electricity and heating to the local area.
Chris May, Operations Director, comments “We are happy to be working alongside Britaniacrest again this year. They are a like-minded company, passionate about waste management which our end clients value so it’s a great fit for everyone in the supply chain”.
