Andusia are delighted to report they have signed a renewal contract with family-run Britaniacrest Recycling, based in Surrey. The contract marks a continuation of working together, having just agreed on a new 3-year deal.
Formed in 1993, Britaniacrest have grown from strength to strength to become one of the South’s leading private waste management companies. Passionate about recycling and protecting the environment, the company are able to achieve ‘0% to landfill’ for customers and recycle 90% of waste received.
The collaboration will see 32,000 tonnes per annum (that’s 96,000 tonnes for the duration of the contract!) of RDF being exported over the 3-year period. The waste will be recovered and used to provide electricity and heating to the local area, a far better choice than ending up in UK landfill.
Chris May, Operations Director, comments “We are happy to be working alongside Britaniacrest again for the next three years. They are a like-minded company, passionate about waste management which our end clients value so it’s a great fit for everyone in the supply chain”.
