Can the UK handle an additional 3.6million tonnes of material in landfill?

This week, the RDF Industry Group has published a report detailing the effects Brexit could have on the RDF Industry. In summary, the report states that if Brexit were to damage the UK’s RDF export market then the result would be, the almost impossible task of, the UK having to find the space for some 3.6million tonnes of additional material going to landfill.

Although Andusia is not of the opinion that Brexit will have an impact on the RDF industry, it does support the initiative for the UK government to not only support continued RDF export but also growth in the UK waste and energy market. (more…)

Andusia’s Response to Lets Recycle Article

This month, Lets Recycle, published an article claiming that the RDF market is continuing to plateau. Andusia can confirm that its business continues to perform well in these established markets.  However, the RDF export market to Europe still offers many opportunities in other areas of Europe that are still growing. Recent figures show that there is growing capacity in Germany and Sweden where there is a drive to expand new and existing facilities. (more…)

Andusia Attend World Waste to Energy Summit

Andusia is pleased to announce that the team will be attending this year’s World Waste to Energy and Resources Summit, in London. The event will take place on 23rd – 24th May 2018, and our Director, Stewart Brackenbury, and General Manager, Mark Terrell, will be attending the event.

Andusia are visiting IFAT 2018

IFAT is the world’s leading trade fair for Waste and Energy Management, and is a vital platform for visitors to procure strategies and solutions for using resources to ensure long-term preservation. This year Andusia will be visiting the trade fair and will be available for meetings with any current and prospective clients to discuss your requirements.

The industry leading exhibition attracts over 130,000 visitors from 169 countries, all looking to meet and network with other visitors but also the 300 exhibitors. The trade fair is supported by a unique and informative seminar programme which further confirms it’s a trade fair of opinion.
