Logistical

Experts

While it does have significant exports, the UK relies heavily on imports to meet the demands of its population and industries. These imports come from countries around the world, but with significant amounts from the European Union. Because of this many modes of transport leave the UK empty, we utilise these empty back loads to export RDF with a very low environmental impact.

Unlike other exporters we are not tided to one mode of transport and we offer the full range of service, including containers, curtain sided trucks and bulk ships for baled RDF, and we even move RDF loose on walking floors. All dependant on the needs of our customers.

How we can help you

Competitive, fully collected service of baled and wrapped waste in curtain-siders, containers, walking floors, bulk shipping solutions or bespoke logistics, depending upon the destination.

Zero carbon solution – we only use back haul transport for all our exports (these vehicles would otherwise be returning empty)

Containers

Containers

Refused Derived Fuel, or RDF, is a fuel produced from a range of waste, including municipal, commercial and industrial waste

We use containers as they offer security, protection from weather, and ease of handling. They also enable seamless movement of goods via trucks, ships and rail.

Curtain Sided Truck

Curtain-Sided Trucks

Curtain-sided trucks, also known as tautliners or curtainsiders, are trucks with flexible curtains instead of solid walls. These curtains can be drawn open for loading and unloading, providing easy access to the cargo

Curtain-sided trucks offer versatility and convenience for loading and unloading goods, especially for large or irregularly shaped items. They provide protection from weather while allowing for quick access to the cargo, making them suitable for various types of freight.

Bulk Ships

Bulk Ships

Bulk ships are vessels designed for transporting unpackaged bulk cargo, such as grains, coal, ore, and liquids. These ships typically feature large open holds or tanks for storing bulk cargo directly, without the need for containers or packaging.

Bulk ships are highly efficient for transporting large volumes of homogeneous cargo over long distances. They offer lower transportation costs per unit of cargo compared to other methods. Bulk shipping is essential for industries such as mining, agriculture, and energy.

Walking Floor Trucks

Walking floor trucks are specialised vehicles used for transporting loose or bulk materials, such as wood chips, gravel, agricultural products, or waste. Unlike traditional trucks with fixed beds or containers, walking floor trucks feature a moving floor system that allows for the efficient loading and unloading of loose cargo without the need for manual labour or additional equipment.

Using walking floor trucks enable us to move waste loose without the need for baling and wrapping
