Construction Progress: Director Mark Terrell Visits Walsall EfW Site

Andusia Director Mark Terrell recently visited the Walsall Energy from Waste (EfW) facility to view construction progress firsthand, with the landmark facility now less than nine months away from receiving its first waste.

Looking highly impressive gleaming in the summer sun, the state-of-the-art facility remains strictly on time and on budget.

The plant is owned and operated by Encyclis and is currently being constructed by EPC contractor KVI. Once fully operational next year, the magnificent facility will process 436,000 tonnes of residual waste annually. By diverting these massive volumes of refuse from landfill, the plant will generate vital sustainable baseload electricity for the region.

Andusia is incredibly proud of its partnership role in the project and is thoroughly looking forward to supplying the facility when operations commence next year.

The countdown to operational readiness is officially on. Stay tuned for further updates as we approach the final stages of commissioning.
