We are delighted to present and sincerely thank Enva Scotland with a Silver Award for exporting over 100,000 tonnes of Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) for Energy from Waste. By moving residual waste by bulk ship to EfW facilities, Enva Scotland has helped turn material that cannot be recycled into useful energy while keeping significant volumes out of landfill.
This achievement reflects the team’s hard work, commitment, and ability to deliver at scale in a challenging and fast‑moving market. The use of bulk shipping has enabled large volumes of RDF to be moved efficiently and reliably, helping provide vital treatment capacity when domestic options are limited.
Presenting the award, Chris May, Director at Andusia, said:
“We’re incredibly proud to recognise the Enva Scotland team for this achievement. Exporting RDF at this scale takes real operational skill, commitment, and teamwork, and we’d like to personally thank them for the role they continue to play in supporting Energy from Waste.”
The award was proudly received by Paul Gallagher, Operations Manager at Enva Scotland, celebrating both the people and the delivery behind this outstanding result.
