Andusia Celebrates 7th Anniversary

Andusia Recovered Fuels is proud to announce that on 21st February 2019 it is celebrating the company’s 7th Anniversary of RDF waste exports across Europe.

Since Andusia’s launch in 2012, the company has grown to be one of the UK’s largest independent exporters of RDF across Europe, celebrating many milestones over the years including collection of its one millionth tonne in 2018. In 2016, Andusia were also awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade – the first such award given to a business in the RDF export sector.

During the past seven years, Andusia have developed a strong supply base of professional UK waste management companies; and have established long lasting relationships with some of the largest combined heat and power (CHP) plants in Europe, all of which have been vital to the success of Andusia to date.

Director, Mark Terrell, said of the anniversary ‘Andusia have enjoyed a successful 7 years, growing from strength to strength. This year, the future of waste export has come under fire due to Brexit, however no matter what the outcome in March, we are prepared for every eventuality and will ensure to minimise any impact on our customers”.

The company has since expanded its offering, using their expertise in the RDF field to begin export of SRF, and more recently hazardous and clinical waste.

Regarding Andusia’s expansion, Mark summarises, “The RDF export market will always be a key area for us, however we are now turning our attentions to SRF and hazardous waste too, meaning we can offer a truly extensive waste solution. We’re looking forward to a busy and exciting 2019!”
