Maddie promoted to Assistant Accountant

Andusia is pleased to announce that Maddie Goodyear has recently been promoted to Assistant Accountant.

Maddie joined us in October 2015 as Office Administrator, working 2 days a week whilst also completing her Business A-Levels at college. In early 2016, Maddie then went on to join the Accounts department, full-time, and commenced an AAT apprenticeship to embark upon a career in accountancy.

The AAT Accounting Qualification is universally respected and internationally recognised. AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) award around 90% of all vocational qualifications in accounting, and are sponsored by the professional accounting bodies CIPFA, ICAEW, CIMA and ICAS.

Maddie has now completed and passed both her Level 2 and 3 qualifications.

Director, Steve Burton, comments: “We’re delighted with what Maddie has achieved since focussing her career on accounting. She is now our 2nd longest serving employee and has made great strides in both her personal development and her academic studies since starting with us at 16 years of age. It was a chance encounter that led Maddie to us, and it has been a great success story ever since. It will certainly encourage us to try again with apprentices.”

We hope you join us in congratulating Maddie in her promotion and wishing her the best of luck in her new role.
