Number 1 >> Tis the season to be jolly!
Andusia’s staff Christmas party post was a popular choice and little wonder, as our parties are the best – just look at all those happy faces! We celebrated in style as a big thank you to our amazing team who helped handled a record volume of RDF this year totalling over 300,000 tonnes, hitting an incredible milestone in the process – the export of 2 million tonnes of RDF since our launch in 2012. Number 2 >> Biggest deal ever!
Our announcement at the turn of the year stating that we had signed the largest RDF contract the waste industry has ever seen resulted in plenty of clicks and media coverage. Under the deal, sealed with German energy-from-waste group EEW, Andusia is supplying 1 million tonnes of RDF over a five-year period. Read more here: Link

We love to showcase our bales, especially when they are on the move to their final destination. In February we filmed a bulk shipment of RDF from one of our customers being loaded at Glasgow docks, bound for an energy recovery plant in Denmark, Copenhagen – and so many people tuned in to watch! Number 5 >> A timely tribute!
In October our co-founder Stewart Brackenbury left the company for a well deserved retirement. Stewart was a well-known figure in the industry and many joined us to wish him well for the future. You can read more about Stewart’s legacy here: Link
