Andusia opens RDF terminal in Drammen

Andusia RFL are pleased to have expanded their RDF shipping methods further and have opened a terminal in Drammen, Norway. Commencing in July 2016, Andusia have agreed an exclusive contract with Drammen Port, to export refuse derived fuel (RDF) to the port and will be shipping a substantial 60,000 per annum through the facility.

Drammen Port operators have stated they are thrilled to be working with Andusia and pleased they are able to offer a new and environmentally sustainable method of shipping RDF to its final destination, the Oslo CHP Plant.  Drammen Port operators will provide a cross docking operation into walking floor trailers which will enable a safe and speedy delivery to the Oslo plant.

With new shipping methods in place and recently seeing the 800,000 tonne barrier broken, our operation has expanded enormously in the past year and we have never been so busy.  With increases in staff numbers, we are pleased we can accommodate the rise in workload and look forward to our operations continuing to grow.
